Demolition, site work, new construction and renovation of a civil project in Haviland, Kansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The project consists of improvements to the wastewater treatment facility. This includes work at the Town Lift Station site, the WWTP pump station, and the WWTP site itself. There are also two alternates for painting. The Project includes the following Work: A. Base Wastewater Treatment Facility Improvements. Improvements to the Town Lift Station site include new lift station electrical, removal and replacement of two existing wastewater pumps, new PLC based pump control panel, new floats and radar level sensor, and clean / repaint existing piping. Improvements to the WWTP pump station include new pump station electrical, removal and replacement of two existing wastewater pumps, new PLC based pump control panel, new floats and radar level sensor, removal of existing digester piping and equipment, and clean / repaint existing piping include. Improvements to the WWTP site include removal of existing bar screen and installation of grinder / comminutor, removal of existing building over wet well and installation of concrete pad, extending the walls of the existing splitter structure, removal of sludge from the existing two lagoons, miscellaneous removal / abandonment of items, construction of new 7.3 acre clay lined lagoon, new interconnect piping between the three lagoon cells, site fencing, site grading, site seeding and miscellaneous ither items indicated on the drawings. Question Deadline 06/04/2026 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all registered plan holders. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
