Martin County is seeking bids from licensed Florida Water Well Contractors to provide all labor, materials, and equipment required for the construction of one (1) 2-inch Test Well and one (1) permanent 6-inch Irrigation Supply Well at Langford Park in Jensen Beach, Florida. The scope of work includes obtaining well construction permits, drill site preparation, drilling operations, installation of temporary casing and screen, water quality testing, well logging, re-drilling for installation of the final casing and screen, installation of a permanent irrigation supply well following completion of testing of the test well, placement of gravel pack, development of the irrigation supply well, wellhead completion, restoration of the well site, and all related incidental work as described in the project drawings and specifications. Substantial completion shall be within 90 calendar days (from issuance of Notice to Proceed). Liquidated damages shall be $150.00 per day. The cost estimate for this project is $330,000.00.
