Renovation of a medical facility in Chilliwack, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
Two Medical Device Reprocessing (MDR) Steam Sterilizers at Chilliwack General Hospital have reached the end of their service life and need to be replaced. This is evident by increased failures, maintenance costs and reduced availability of replacement parts. They are in room 1192 of the Diamond Jubilee Pavilion MDR clean area (Rooms 1192, 2010 to 2017); the unclean area (Room 2016) is adjacent to it. Two end of service life Drying Cabinets are also located in the area. The 2 Steam Sterilizers and Drying Cabinets will be replaced by the below projects: F389-00 CGH MDR Steam Sterilizer Replacement Remove and replace 2 Steam Sterilizers with new into the same footprint they now occupy.
