The City of Shawnee is seeking qualifications from engineering consulting firms for a project involving three design tasks. Task one involves a corridor alignment analysis to evaluate the planned alignment of 75th Street and Woodland Drive. Task two is for the final design and construction documents for the extensions of Carson Street, with design to commence in 2026. Task three will provide final design and construction documents for 75th Street, the 75th Street/Woodland Drive roundabout, and the Carson Street connection into the roundabout, with construction anticipated to begin in the first quarter of 2028. Authorization of Task three will be based on consultant performance, project needs, and available funding, as determined by the City. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. Request for Proposal for design services is underway. Question Deadline 05/27/2026
