A. Provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, coordination, transportation, temporary protection, and incidentals necessary to complete the reconstruction and restoration of the building front façade damaged as a result of a lighting/fire event. Work shall include selective demolition, replacement of exterior façade components, glazing and curtainwall repairs, signage removal and reinstallation, and electrical restoration associated with the façade lighting system. B. The Contractor shall coordinate all work with the Owner and Authorities having Jurisdiction. All replacement materials and assemblies shall match existing adjacent construction in appearance, profile, texture, and performance unless otherwise directed. C. If a Bidder is unable to comply with any of the following specifications, the Bidder shall submit in writing the reason for noncompliance. Noncompliance with any specification is grounds for rejection of the entire bid. The buyer reserves the right to reject any bid which does not meet these specifications. D. Before submitting a proposal, the contractor shall visit the site of the work and shall carefully examine the work and be fully responsible for achieving the intent of the project. This project is located at the Effingham Technology Center, 1201 Althoff Dr, Effingham, Illinois. This project consists of the front facade reconstruction for the ETC building on the campus of Lake Land College. Successful Bidders shall have the sole responsibility of complying with all aspects of existing Prevailing Wage Policies.
