The Contractor shall provide a lump sum bid for the following: Disconnect and remove the existing rooftop HVAC unit and dispose of it properly. Protect all existing ductwork, power, and natural gas piping connections for reuse. Furnish and install a nominal 7.5T packaged rooftop unit with DX cooling, natural gas heat, 160.0 MBH input, 80% AFUE, aluminized steel heat exchanger, 208V/3ph power connection, downflow constant volume, 1½" thick casing insulation, modulating outside air damper, economizer with dry-bulb control, barometric relief damper, coil guards, phase loss protection, two-stage heating and cooling, 7-day programmable thermostat, one year parts and labor warranty, ten year heat exchanger warranty, and five year compressor warranty. Acceptable manufacturers are Carrier, Daikin, and Trane. Contractor must include crane rental or other approved means for unit removal and installation. Install the new unit and adapter curb as required, flash and seal roof penetrations, and install a new thermostat in the existing thermostat location. Connect power to the new unit using the existing source, and install new LFMC from disconnect to unit. The lump sum bid must be broken down into labor, material, and mark-up. Equipment submittal is required with the bid. For unit purchase, provide a per-system cost for a nominal 2.5T split system with DX condensing unit and interior vertical upflow air handling unit (cooling only; heat provided by separate duct-mounted hot water coil). System must include electronic or thermal expansion valve, terminal strip for controls, single-stage scroll compressor, direct drive evaporator and condenser fan, one year parts and labor warranty, and five year compressor warranty. Units to be delivered to Owner's Maintenance Shop. The per-system cost will determine the quantity purchased based on available funds. Include equipment submittal with the bid.
