Remodeling of an elderly care / assisted living facility in Indianapolis, Indiana. Completed plans call for the remodel of a 18-room elderly care / assisted living facility.
The work consists of resident room renovations (18 rooms) at Forest Creek Village, as required by the bidding documents, agreement between owner and contractor, general conditions, special conditions, specifications, and drawings. The project will be awarded as a unified bid to a general contractor for a complete bid of all work as specified. Bidders are responsible for obtaining complete sets of drawings and contract documents and must submit bids on the provided forms, including the names of all interested persons or entities. Each bid must be accompanied by a revised Form No. 96 (as prescribed by the Indiana State Board of Accounts), a financial statement, a statement of experience, a proposed plan or plans for performing the work, the available equipment for the work, and a bid bond or certified check for ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount. The successful bidder must execute the agreement within fifteen days and provide required performance and payment bonds, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. All work must conform to the plans and specifications prepared by Montgomery Architects, Inc. Contractors must comply with antidiscrimination statutes and verify employee work eligibility through the E-Verify program. The owner reserves the right to reject, cancel, or waive irregularities in any and all bids as specified in the solicitation.
