Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Verona, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The major work consists of approximately 56,642 square yards of GSB-88 Bituminous and all appurtenant work. Sealed bids are required, submitted by the deadline either by email or mail. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check payable to the City of Verona in an amount not less than 5% or more than 10% of the bid as a guarantee. If awarded, the bidder must execute the contract and furnish 100% performance and payment bonds within 15 days after notice of award. Prevailing hourly wage rates are not required, but competitive wages must be paid. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any technicality, and accept any bid deemed advantageous. All bids shall remain subject to acceptance for 60 days after opening. Question Deadline 05/28/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
