Remodeling of a municipal facility in Checotah, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for the remodel of a municipal facility.

The retrofit and conversion of a former medical facility into a Multi-Jurisdictional 911 Call Center and Emergency Operations Center, serving the emergency response needs of the City of Checotah, City of Eufaula, McIntosh County, and associated emergency service providers. The facility will function as a centralized communications hub for emergency dispatch and disaster coordination. A portion of the facility will be constructed as a “hardened” environment to support modern emergency dispatch operations, continuity of operations, and multi-agency disaster response coordination. All work must be completed and ready for final inspection by the specified deadline. There is a penalty for non-completion. Attendance at the mandatory pre-bid conference is required. Bid packets with plans, specifications, and drawings are available for pickup, and bidders must provide contact information to receive changes or addendums. Bidders must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, local building codes, licensing requirements, and applicable OSHA and safety standards. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check, or cashier’s check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond (100% of contract amount), Payment (Statutory) Bond (100% of contract amount), and Maintenance (Defect) Bond (one year, 50% of contract amount). All bonds must be issued by a surety authorized to do business in the State of Oklahoma. Failure to provide proof of bonding within thirty days of selection may result in a change in the owner's designation of the selected bidder.
