The project involves furnishing the necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, and guarantees to construct Lee Forest Reservoir Improvements. The work includes a seismic retrofit and interior and exterior recoating of the existing 1.0 MG Lee Forest Reservoir, construction of a new 2.2 MG steel reservoir, water site piping, storm site piping, construction of a stormwater detention pond, and three valve vaults for flow control and monitoring of the reservoirs. Approximately 105 trees along with other shrubs and brush will be removed, and site restoration will include gravel surfacing, hydroseed, new fencing, and gates. Proposals must be submitted on the provided form, accompanied by a certified check, postal money order, cashier's check, or proposal bond for at least five percent of the total proposal amount. All bidding and construction is to comply with the contract provisions and plans. The Cross Valley Water District reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive minor irregularities or informalities in any proposal. Subject to any extensions of the Contract Time granted under the Contract, the undersigned agrees to substantially complete the Work required under this Contract within 300 working days (the Substantial Completion Date) and to physically complete the Work required under this contract within 320 working days (the Physical Completion Date) from when Contract Time begins.
