Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Fairmont, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a road / highway; and sidewalk / parking lot.

Work includes excavation of 2,255 cubic yards of common material, installation of 3,035 tons of Aggregate Base Class 5, milling of 18,750 square yards of bituminous surface (AMG, robotic), placement of 2,231 square yards of 8-inch concrete pavement, installation of 3,700 tons of Type SP 9.5 wearing course mixture (3;C), 1,300 square yards of special bituminous full depth patch and 1,000 square yards of standard bituminous full depth patch. Utilities installation includes 183 linear feet of 16-inch PVC watermain and 311 linear feet of 8-inch PVC watermain. Concrete walk installation includes 7,855 square feet of 4-inch and 9,398 square feet of 6-inch walk. Work includes installation of 3,674 linear feet of concrete curb and gutter (Design B618), 32 special lighting units, 2,075 linear feet of 2-inch non-metallic conduit, 9,750 linear feet of underground wire (1 C 4 AWG), and 3,250 linear feet of underground wire (1 C 8 AWG). Pavement marking includes 8,750 linear feet of 6-inch solid line paint, 1,903 linear feet of 6-inch solid line preform thermoplastic ground-in, 3,297 square feet of crosswalk paint, and 785 square feet of crosswalk preform thermoplastic ground-in. Together with numerous related items of work, all in accordance with Plans and Specifications. This project is subject to Prevailing Wage Rates, Truck Rentals, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Goals, Equal Employment Opportunity Provisions, Buy American Iron and Steel Provisions, and Build America Buy America. Affirmative action requirements must be met.
