Renovation of a mixed-use development in Indianapolis, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
This project consists of the replacement of card access controls at multiple school locations within the Indianapolis Public Schools district. Deadline to Submit Written Questions June 3, 2026 at 10:00 AM ET Contractor shall email purchasing@myips.org Target Response to Written Questions June 4, 2026 The scope of this project includes the replacement of existing card access control hardware at 41 district locations. The locations for this project have been divided into three packages. The list of locations is defined in the project specifications file. The scope of work is for bidder-provided labor only as all equipment is owner provided. Bidders may bid on any combination of the three packages to be considered a valid bid response but must bid on the complete scope of work of the associated package. A partial response to any single package is not acceptable and will be eliminated. An alternate can be submitted for bidder-provided equipment on any package using the project number of controllers listed in the project specifications sheet. District has defined substantial completion by December 31, 2027 and bidder must provide timeline as part of bid response. A cut sheet will be provided by district staff for each location during the project to the Prime Contractor. A sample has been included in the project specification Excel file. Potential respondents must have qualified technicians to install the parts defined below that use Mercury's Gen4 platform. The following is the project-defined card access control equipment provided by the district.
