This Contract shall include the disconnection, transportation, dry-docking, blasting/painting, and reconnection of the Dulac Pontoon Bridge. Other maintenance and inspection work shall be included in this contract during the dry-docking as detailed in the plans and specifications. Bids must be submitted on the Louisiana Uniform Public Works Bid Form furnished with the Bidding Documents. Bidding Documents shall be issued at the cost of reproduction to contractors who are licensed by the Licensing Board of Contractors. This project requires a Louisiana Contractors license number for Class III - Heavy Construction. Each bid must be either hand delivered by the bidder or his agent, sent by United States Postal Service registered or certified mail with a return receipt requested, or submitted electronically with Central Auction House (CAH). Bids will not be accepted or taken on days recognized as holidays by the United States Postal Service. No bid received after the scheduled time for opening will be considered. Failure of the U.S. Mail to deliver bids timely shall not be considered cause for extending the bid opening time. The Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government reserves the right to reject any and all bids in accordance with Louisiana State Bid Law.
