Demolition, site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Houston, Texas. Completed plans call civil work for an educational facility and sidewalk / parking lot.
Texas Southern University (TSU) seeks a contractor that shall furnish all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, permits, fees, testing, disposal services, and incidentals necessary to remove and replace approximately 396 linear feet of existing concrete sidewalk at the Sterling Student Center. Work shall include demolition, excavation, subgrade preparation, formwork, reinforcement, concrete placement, finishing, curing, restoration, and site cleanup in accordance with applicable local, state, ADA, and industry standards. The Contractor shall coordinate all work to minimize disruption to pedestrian traffic and university operations while maintaining a safe work environment throughout the duration of the project. Contractor shall provide a project timeline from start to completion of the project. All inquiries regarding this Invitation to Bid must be submitted via email by Monday, May 25, 2026, by 12:00 p.m. Questions must be emailed to Sceffers Ward at sceffers.ward@tsu.edu in Word format for ease of cutting and pasting
