The project generally includes cleaning and pump testing wells 03 and 10 at the Riverside Well Field across from the water treatment plant located at 14 Buckeye Drive, Zanesville, OH 43701. Bids must be in accordance with drawings and specifications and on forms available from Verdantas LLC. Bidders are required to provide bid security in the form of a Bid Bond in the amount of 100 percent of the Bid Price or certified check, cashier’s check or letter of credit equal to ten percent of the bid amount to guarantee entrance into a contract if awarded. Each bid must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the bid and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity, and a complete listing of all subcontractors to be used. Offers must be submitted on the Bid Form provided. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project shall to the extent practicable use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor. Compliance with equal employment opportunity requirements and prevailing wage rates is required. Offers are to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 60 days after submission. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids, waive any informality in bids received, and accept any bid deemed to be the lowest and best.
