BRO-0600(007) & 405-422(235) for Henderson Bridge Improvements - Phase 2 in the Cities of Providence and East Providence will consist of two projects areas. See Appendix S for locus map. The combined project work will consist of constructing a new parkway between the Henderson Bridge Phase 1 roundabout and North Broadway, new pedestrian connections and overlaying Pawtucket Avenue from Warren Avenue to Marietta Street. Work will also include, but not be limited to, construction of two scenic overlooks on Bridge No. 600; construction of roadway and sidewalk; construction of an MSE wall; demolition of Bridge No. 059701; construction of an at-grade roundabout; installation of a pedestrian signal on North Broadway; installation of RRFBs at crosswalks; installation of three (3) new traffic signals on Pawtucket Avenue; construction of new ADA compliant wheelchair ramps; lighting; landscaping; erosion control; handling, hauling, stockpiling, and management of contaminated soil; storm drainage and stormwater treatment units; utility adjustments; temporary and permanent striping; flagpersons; temporary construction signs; new signage; field office; mobilization; maintenance and protection of traffic; and all incidentals required to finish the work of this contract, complete and accepted.
