Sealed bids are invited for furnishing all labor and materials for the City of Warrensville Heights, Ohio Water Main Break Street Repair Program in accordance with specified requirements. Each bidder must provide a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond as per Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code, issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in Ohio. Proposals must include the full names of all interested parties as well as evidence of experience on projects of similar size and complexity. The project is intended to begin immediately upon award. All contractors and subcontractors are to use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor as practicable, and comply with equal employment opportunity regulations per the Ohio Administrative Code and Executive Orders. Contractors and subcontractors must be registered with the City and comply with prevailing wage rates for Cuyahoga County and the City of Warrensville Heights, as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes, clearly labeled with the project name and bidder contact information. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive irregularities, and accept the bid most favorable to the City. The person submitting the request shall be responsible for its prompt delivery. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by addenda mailed or delivered to all bidding documents holders. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of bids may not be answered.
