Reference Number 0000424448 The City of Cedar Park seeks the services of qualified engineering consultants interested in providing roofing and waterproofing consulting design and construction phase services for the City Hall Buildings 1 and 7 Roof Replacement Project. The current roof systems on Building’s 1 and 7 are experiencing moisture infiltration and are approaching their end of life, requiring replacement. The following items represent a general scope of work for the project. Roofing and Waterproofing Design – Provide design services for the existing roof systems necessary for the procurement phase of the project. Perform a comprehensive design survey of the existing roof system. Perform any moisture testing services as needed for the existing roof systems. Develop recommendations on roof replacement options along with cost estimates. Develop a scope of work, construction documents, and bid documentation to elicit proposals from roofing contractors. Mechanical Engineering – provide qualifications for a qualified mechanical engineer for the replacement of existing HVAC equipment, including accommodations for IT/Data center equipment Procurement – Assist the City in managing a competitive procurement process to elicit competitive sealed proposals from qualified roofing contractors to construct the new roofing systems including: Holding pre-proposal scope of work Q/A meetings for interested parties Assist in answering any questions from interested parties. In partnership with City staff, evaluate proposals from interested parties. Please note that Building 1 and Building 7 may be procured separately. Construction – Provide construction phase services during roof construction including: Holding pre-construction meetings with the selected contractor Oversee the coordination of HVAC replacements and IT/Data Center accommodations as needed. Provide construction inspection site visits during construction Confirm substantial completion and develop associated punchlists Issue final completion report and review any closeout documentation.
