Paving for a road / highway in Shelbyville, Kentucky. Completed plans call for paving for a road / highway.

The project consists of the resurfacing of Pea Ridge Road, a section approximately 13,675 feet long, from HWY 395 to Ritter Lane. The work requires approximately 2,324 tons of asphalt surface. The scope includes tack coating, proper compaction, and milling edge keys where needed. Clearing vegetation from the edge of the pavement is incidental. The contractor is responsible for providing traffic control that meets MUTCD standards and must notify local residents of work dates at least 24 hours in advance. The only bid item is asphalt, priced per ton. The project must be completed and invoiced by May 17, 2027; a $500 per day penalty applies thereafter. Bidders must be qualified by the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet and provide a 100% performance bond. Bonds: 100% Performance Bond.
