The project includes, but is not limited to, the milling, demolition, removal, and disposal of approximately 17,250 square yards of existing pavement and the installation of new pavement. This includes approximately 42 linear feet of bridge pavement work and 3,450 square yards of full depth patching. The scope involves the removal, storage, and reconstruction of the bridge roadway median using original materials, and bridge deck waterproofing prior to asphalt overlay. The contractor must protect existing driveways, manhole covers, valve boxes, brick crosswalks, curbs, structures, and bridge components. Additional responsibilities include locating and protecting existing utilities, installing temporary and permanent pavement markings, maintaining access to residences and businesses, coordinating with property owners, managing traffic, and implementing erosion control measures. The project encompasses all other appurtenant work and compliance with permitting requirements.
