The work consists of furnishing all materials, labor, plant, tools, transportation, equipment, testing services, quality control, and incidentals necessary to design and implement a monitoring and control system for the IWCS in Building 62516. The contractor shall perform a site investigation to verify existing conditions and shall identify and provide all logistical, architectural, and structural elements required to complete the work as described. Assemblies, framework, fixtures, or apparatus not readily identified in the project drawings, specifications, or the statement of work shall be provided as required to deliver complete, fully operating, and functional systems ready for Government use. Government-furnished information, including floor plan layouts and dimensions, structural, mechanical, and electrical data, and locations of underground utilities, is based on available as-built documentation and field observations and is considered approximate; all such information shall be field verified by the contractor. The project requires contractor personnel to perform work and operate vehicles on flight lines, runways, taxiways, parking ramps, or in aircraft hangars or maintenance areas, and all personnel must complete foreign object debris awareness training in accordance with applicable installation instructions. The requirement does not include controlled unclassified information residing on or transiting through contractor or subcontractor systems. Attendance at the mandatory site visit is required to be eligible for proposal submission, and timely submission of entry authorization information is required to receive site visit details and access to order documents.
