Site work, renovation and addition to a civil project in Weatherford, Texas. Completed plans call for the addition of a water / sewer project.
This project is for the construction of a brownfield expansion from 14.0 MGD to 18.0 MGD peak daily flow (PDF) water purification plant with provisions for a future expansion to 22 MGD for the City of Weatherford. The project has two phases of work remaining to be designed and constructed - Phases three and four - and consists of new facilities including Raw Water Pump Station, Backwash Recovery Basin, Recycle Pump Station, Clearwell, High Service Pump Station, as well as upgrades and improvements to chemical systems, yard and plant piping, site civil elements, and the electrical distribution and controls system. The work in BP-5.01.01 includes providing four vertical turbine raw water pumps and appurtenances as defined in the scope of work per the Contract Documents.
