Paving services for select driving surfaces at KIPP Memphis Collegiate Elementary & Middle Schools. Price will be calculated by SQFT. This project calls for paving specified driving surfaces of the school property at 230 Henry Ave. Questions or requests for clarification oftechnical issues and terms pertaining to this Bid must be submitted in writing via e-mail to Angela Wicks at awicks1@kippmemphis.org by May 20, 2026 no later than 10:00 AM CST. Questions that are deemed to be substantive in nature will be responded to and posted on KMPS website by Close of Business (COB) on May 22, 2026, website . Question and Answers Posted on Website May 22, 2026 by COB Bonds: Bid Bond required (unspecified amount). The substantial completion date is June 30, 2026. The final completion date is July 15, 2026. Paving Work Consists of the following: a. Contractor will be responsible for all clean up associated with the project during and after completion. b. Contractor to apply and pay for any permits or fees associated with this project. c. Contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, supplies, and materials to complete the work as specified, unless otherwise agreed with KMPS. d. Contractor is to schedule all work activities with the Building Supervisor and/or the Director of School Operations. e. Contractor shall clear / clean existing asphalt in the scope of work area of all debris. f. Contractor shall excavate all pot holes and existing limestone in the subject area and haul away from site. g. Contractor shall fill all low areas with a hot mix asphalt and compact it to existing level prior to overlaying any new asphalt. h. Contractor shall overlay the subject area with 411E hot mix asphalt and compact to a depth of 2". i. Contractor shall reapply parking stripes and handicap markings in commercial latex paint to meet ADA specifications. j. Contractor shall insure that all newly paved surfaces allow for natural rain / storm water drainage off of the paved surfaces with no ponding water. k. Any measurements stated in these specifications are approximate. Bidders are responsible for measuring and verifying project scope dimensions and any other measurements necessary to complete this project. l. Paving includes the following driving and parking lot surfaces of the property: 1. Drive lane from N. 3rd St. to the west parking lot 2. Entire west parking lot 3. Drive lane from west parking lot to Henry Ave. 4. These parking lot and driving surfaces represent approximately 4,410 sq. yds Alternates 1. Excavating / grading earth and finishing grounds to promote natural rain / storm water drainage away from the building in the following property grounds area: a. Yard between Multi-Purpose building and Primary Grades building
