Demolition, site work and paving for a civil project in Linneus, Missouri. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The work includes the demolition of existing bridges and the construction of new pipe culverts (one 9 foot diameter and one 12 foot diameter), approach roadway work, and incidental work in accordance with the plans and specifications. All bidders must purchase plans through Great River Engineering and be on the planholder list in order to bid. The contract requires payment of the prevailing hourly rate of wages for each craft or type of work as determined by the Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, and requires adherence to the higher of state or federal wage rates. All bidders must be on MoDOT’s Qualified Contractor List per Section 102.2 of the Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction, 2025, Fourth Edition, with the contractor questionnaire on file 7 days prior to bid opening. Contractors and subcontractors must provide a 10-Hour OSHA construction safety program, or similar approved program, to be completed by on-site employees within sixty days of beginning work. A certified cashier’s check or bid bond in the amount of 5% must be submitted with each proposal. The project will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder.
