Site work for a sidewalk / parking lot in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The Public Improvement consists of building vault and sidewalk improvements located on the east side of 2nd Street SE between 3rd and 4th Avenue SE. Bids shall be on a Unit Price basis. Each bidder must submit a bid security of five percent (5%) of the bid and will be required to furnish a corporate surety bond for the faithful performance of the contract, in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. All contractors and subcontractors must have in place a drug and alcohol testing policy conforming to Iowa Code and provide an acknowledgement of this with their bid. Preference in bidding will be given according to Iowa law. The City Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and technicalities.
