The City of Pueblo is soliciting bids from qualified electricians to add electrical power and lights to the shade structure at Lake Minnequa Veterans Park. The contractor shall provide all electrical supplies and components, products, equipment, PE stamped set of plans, and complete all permits, trenching/boring, installation, testing, and inspections as necessary to complete the project. The intent of the project is to supply electrical service at the shade structure for future music concerts and other community special events. Scope of Work This project is to add electrical power and lights to the shade structure at Lake Minnequa Veterans Park. A. Project shall included the required electrical design to get electrical service from existing transformers adjacent to existing shade structure. Design must be approved by City prior to start of any work. B. All required permits and plan review fees to perform this work shall be the responsibility of the Contractor. C. The work for this project will require trenching or boring to bring power from existing transformer out to the shade structure. D. Install unistrut stand near transformer, provide conduit or bore sleeve from installed unistrut stand to shade structure and install second unistrut stand with 200-amp service and 20 circuits in a lockable outdoor panel. E. All parts must be rated for outdoor use and all weather conditions F. Contractor shall install the following: 1. 5 each of 120-volt receptacle locations on the shade structure; each on their own designated breaker 2. 2 each of 220-volt receptacle locations on the shade structure; each on their own breaker 3. 4 each LED lights under the shade structure; all lights can be on one breaker with Dusk to Dawn sensor on lights G. All turf must be restored after any boring, trenching, and/or digging Question Deadline 05/26/2026 at 4:00 PM MT Deadline for submission of questions.
