Sealed bids are being solicited for the supply of miscellaneous road materials for the City of Duncan, Oklahoma. All materials must meet the requirements of the appropriate Chapter of Section 700, ODOT Standard Specifications for Highway Construction, 1999 Edition. Bidders are required to supply product specifications for 1-1/2" Crusher Run, and submit with their bid a copy of a current mix design for each class of concrete, certified as meeting Section 701.01 specifications. Materials to be supplied include Asphalt Concrete Type B, Rock #57, Hot Mix Cold Lay Type HC4, Rock 1-1/2" Crusher Run, Type A Aggregate Base, and Concrete Sand, to be received at the production site listed by the bidder. Hauling distance and associated costs will be considered in awarding bids. Class A Concrete and Class A Concrete HES bid prices must include delivery to various locations within the City of Duncan. Bidders must also provide an estimated delivery time for all P.C. Concrete and Asphalt Concrete Type B, stated as time after receipt of order. The City may purchase from the next lowest responsible bidder if delivery times are not met, and reserves the right to consider time of delivery in purchase decisions. Minimum order quantities stipulated by vendors will not be accepted. Bids must be firm until December 31, 2026. Award will be made to the lowest responsible bidder submitting the most advantageous responsive bid, but all bids may be rejected for any reason.
