The major work consists of constructing a berm with a 4" perforated PVC pipe subdrain along an existing dam, cast-in-place concrete collars for subdrain cleanout lids and a 4" non-perforated PVC pipe outfall, gabion and subdrain construction for spillway rehabilitation, fine grading, temporary construction access route, topsoil placement, and sodding. Repair of all irrigation and concrete sidewalk damaged during construction is also included. Bids must be submitted electronically via the Procurement Portal. All interested parties should indicate their intent to bid by selecting "yes" under the Intent to Bid section in the Procurement Portal. All addenda and project updates will be posted in the Procurement Portal. The City reserves the right to waive irregularities and to accept or reject any or all bids. The contract will be awarded to the bidder presenting the lowest price, with qualifications and competencies considered. Prequalification is required for certain project improvements and should be in accordance with the procedures outlined in the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders are encouraged to review their submission for clarity and completeness before submitting. If a prebid conference is held, presentation materials and Q&A will be distributed as an addendum; if not, questions should be submitted through the portal's Vendor discussions section.
