The Brandon School District is seeking qualified vendors to replace and upgrade components of its door access control systems and equipment across all buildings in the district. Bids must be submitted as a sealed original hard copy and be signed by an authorized member of the bidder, preferably the highest-ranking local officer. Bids are to be delivered in an opaque envelope clearly marked with the required labeling. No oral, fax, or emailed bids will be accepted. Each bid must include a bid bond, certified check, or cashier’s check valued at five percent of the total bid amount as security, pledging that the bidder will enter into a contract and provide required performance and payment bonds if awarded. All bids must remain irrevocable for at least sixty calendar days after submission and will be publicly acknowledged at a virtual meeting. Costs related to bid preparation are the responsibility of the bidder. Each bidder must acknowledge all addenda and refrain from contacting district personnel regarding the RFB outside the specific procedures indicated.
