Site work for a water / sewer project in Palmer, Alaska. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The project is for the construction of the Cell 3 Landfill Gas Collection and Control System (GCCS) Expansion at the Central Landfill in Palmer, Alaska. The work includes mobilization, utility locating and surveying, drilling and installation of new landfill gas recovery wells, installation of gas collection headers, laterals, wellheads, isolation valves, and road crossings, removal and salvage of existing gas collection piping, connection of existing temporary horizontal gas collection systems, and final site restoration and erosion control. The work also includes several additive alternate bid items for additional gas recovery wells, laterals, wellheads, header improvements, and system maintenance and investigation. Construction will occur within an active landfill environment and requires coordination with existing landfill gas infrastructure. All work must be performed in accordance with the Contract Documents. Questions or requests for clarifications should be directed to the Borough's Purchasing Office. Questions or requests for clarification directed to any other member of the Borough staff or consultants may be grounds for rejection of the proposal as irregular.
