Description

Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Easton, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the demolition of a 38,000-square-foot, three-story above grade parking garage; for the construction of a parking garage; for site work for a parking garage; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; road / highway; road / highway; and water / sewer project.

The project involves demolishing the existing parking deck in its entirety, including footers and foundations, as well as the surface parking lot and all other features indicated in the contract documents. A new 3-story parking deck, with an approximate footprint of 38,000 square feet, will be constructed in roughly the same location. The new deck will consist of cast in place footers and foundation walls, precast structural components, and slab on grade concrete construction. Site preparation will include compaction grouting, rock hammering, over-excavation, and infill with structural fill. Additional site work includes access drives, sidewalk and roadway improvements, utilities, and other related improvements. The Owner also reserves the unrestricted right to reject any and all Proposals or award only portions of the Proposal to separate Firms, or to waive any informalities or technicalities required for the best interests of NorCo.
