The estimated construction cost is between $500,000 to $1,500,000. Contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to complete the following scope of work. The work shall include, but is not limited to, the following a. Remove and dispose of the existing primary metering switchgear and associated conduits, wiring, and appurtenances. b. Furnish and install new outdoor primary metering switchgear. Work shall include installation of the medium-voltage primary metering switchgear assembly and concrete pad. c. Provide excavation, trenching, sawcutting, conduit installation, backfill, and pavement restoration as required for installation of new conduit and wiring associated with the switchgear installation. d. Protect existing adjacent equipment, structures, and utilities as necessary during demolition and installation work. e. Coordinate all work with HECO, including but not limited to: utility switching, scheduled outages, cable terminations, equipment inspections, and final energization. f. Sequence the work to minimize disruption to facility operations. The existing switchgear shall remain operational until the new switchgear is installed, tested, and accepted by HECO and BWS. g. Provide testing and commissioning of the new primary metering switchgear assembly. h. All work shall be installed in accordance with manufacturer recommendations, applicable codes and standards, and HECO requirements.
