Renovation and addition to a detention facility in Burns, Oregon. Completed plans call for the addition of a detention facility; and detention facility.
Proposals are requested for Bid Package #4 to complete Earthwork, Excavation, Utility, Concrete, Rebar, Masonry, and Elevator work for the Harney County Jail Addition and Renovation project. The scopes of work that have been finalized in previous bid packages and are not included in this package are MEPFS, Pre-Engineered Metal Building, Geotechnical Services, and Prefabricated Detention Cells. All bids must be submitted on the provided Bid Form and in accordance with the complete scope of work outlined in the bid documents. The contract is subject to Oregon Prevailing Wage Rate Law. Bidders must be licensed by the Construction Contractors Board of the State of Oregon. Each bid must indicate whether the bidder is an Oregon resident bidder. The right to reject any or all bids, waive formalities, and postpone the award for thirty days is reserved. All bids and prices must remain firm for thirty days after the bid closing date. Every request for such technical and design interpretation shall be in writing addressed to Kirby Nagelhout Construction, Attn: Joe Waggoner (JoeW@kirbynagelhout.com) or Zahava Jones (zahavaj@kirbynagelhout.com)To be given consideration the request must be received by the GENERAL CONTRACTOR at least seven (7) calendar days prior to the date fixed for the opening of the Bids. Questions will be received until Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at 5:00 PM.
