Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Corunna, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
The work is located at three different river park locations in the Township of St. Clair: Guthrie park, Willow park, and Branton Cundick park. In general, the work includes: removal of the roof; removal of specific interior walls (site specific); filling in the hole at the base of the walls and repairing cracks and voids in the blocks; preparing the top of the existing walls for the new roof; building and installing the new sloped roof complete with flashing, eaves, and downspouts; painting the building inside and out; removing the wooded privacy partitions (site specific); installing the plumbing and electrical; installing the accessible washroom features; pulling electrical and plumbing permits (building permit has been issued according to the drawings). The electrical and plumbing layouts are not included in the building package. Drawings show the location of the plumbing fixtures. Some sites will require more work. Lighting is required to be on motion sensors and doors programmed to lock automatically overnight. The contractor is responsible for familiarizing themselves, and/or their sub-contractors, with the existing site conditions. The municipality will not be responsible for any extra costs that may result from failure to complete an existing site investigation.
