The works generally include, but are not limited to, the following: - The supply and installation of 5 access chambers for raw water mains (2 insertion chambers and 3 removal chambers); - The installation of pressure connections on the three existing distribution mains (6 connections in total); - The reconstruction of the road structure, surfacing, concrete curbs and grassed areas; - Retaining works, the temporary construction of a bypass road and a concrete safety barrier, and the temporary installation of a culvert. This work will be carried out in front of the City of Longueuil's raw water pumping station (located at 850 Saint-Charles Street West) and on the site of the Louise-Gravel drinking water plant (located at 1700 Bourassa Street). Duration of works: All works must be completed within a timeframe of ten (10) weeks from the end of August.
