Renovation of a municipal facility in Middletown, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 6,828-square-foot, two-story above grade municipal facility.

Bid documents will be received 1 week before project bids. Please see Invitation to Bid regarding documents if you would like to obtain sooner. The project involves office renovations for the Middletown Housing Authority at 150 Williams Street, Middletown, CT. Bidders are required to submit sealed bids for the renovations as specified in the contract documents, plans, and specifications. A 5% Bid Security is required for bids above $25,000, and 100% Performance and Payment Bonds are required for contracts above $100,000. Bidders must adhere to minimum wage rates, nondiscrimination and equal opportunity rules (Executive Order 11246), and related provisions as outlined in the general conditions. The project is federally assisted and requires compliance with the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, Equal Opportunity provisions of Executive Order 11246, Non-Discrimination provision of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Labor Standards provisions of the Davis-Bacon Act and related acts and the Contract Work Hours Standards Act, prevailing wage determinations from the U.S. Department of Labor, and all applicable provisions under Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974.
