Construction of a Military Free Fall School Advanced Training Complex to provide permanent facilities and supporting infrastructure for Basic Parachute, Advanced Tactical Infiltration, Instructor, and Jumpmaster Courses. Work includes construction of an approximately 158,000 square-foot complex consisting of company headquarters, general instruction space, and an Airborne Equipment and Parachute Rigging Facility. The project includes installation of information systems, fire protection and alarm systems, Intrusion Detection Systems, and Energy Monitoring Control Systems connections. Additional facilities include an oxygen container storage facility, a C-130 air transport mock-up covered training area, and a covered parachute landing fall pit. Supporting work includes full site preparation and development, utilities (electrical, water, gas, sanitary sewer, chilled water, and information systems distribution), exterior lighting, vehicle parking, access drives, roads, curb and gutter, sidewalks, storm drainage, landscaping, signage, and other associated site improvements. The project will be delivered as a firm-fixed-price, design-bid-build construction effort and is anticipated to involve work of significant magnitude and complexity.
