Remodeling of a mixed-use development in Pocatello, Idaho. Completed plans call for the remodel of a 2,200-square-foot educational facility.
The project includes the remodel and equipment of the Tiered Classroom 209 at the ISU Beckley nursing building in Pocatello, encompassing approximately 2,200 square feet. The work involves combining two classrooms into a single, larger space and introducing an accessible single-user restroom to enhance usability and accessibility for students and faculty. The scope of work includes raising the existing classroom floor to match the main building level, eliminating interior stairs, and ensuring ADA accessibility throughout the teaching space. Additional work consists of replacing classroom windows to improve energy efficiency, constructing a new ADA-compliant single-user restroom, and performing other tasks as indicated in the contract documents. Proposals must be submitted with a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount, including any add alternates. A Public Works Contractor's License for the State of Idaho is required to bid on this work. One set of documents may be obtained by licensed general contractors from the Design Professional for a refundable deposit. Others may obtain documents at cost, non-refundable.
