The project consists of modifications and removal of existing site conditions and construction of a new storm water management system at McIntosh Power Plant. The scope includes removal of pavement and infrastructure, site grading, and construction of two new stormwater retention ponds for the areas that previously held Units 1, 2, and 3 and the Coal Yard. The two new ponds are referred to as the "West Pond" and "Admin Pond." The work involves altering existing surface water ponds, installing new outfalls, and constructing riprap revetments to prevent scouring or erosion. The project will be delivered under a lump sum pricing structure for the West and Admin Pond. The construction of these ponds and their associated features defines the scope of this project. Requirements include the removal of existing elements, site grading, construction of retention ponds, and installation of erosion control features.
