WRA Polk City South Pump Station Rehabilitation, 042026024 This improvement includes rehabilitation of the WRA Polk City South Pump Station and includes lining of the wet well, manhole lining, sewage bypass, temporary traffic control, and surface restoration, all in accordance with the contract documents including Plan File No. 682-001/009, located at or near 1315 S 14th Street, Polk City, Iowa. Sealed proposals (bids) must be submitted electronically on the City of Des Moines' bid submission system by the stated deadline. Paper, fax, or emailed bids will not be considered. The Jurisdiction reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive informalities and technicalities, and enter into contracts as deemed in its best interest. Each bidder must provide bid security as defined by Section 26.8 of the Iowa Code and as specified by the Jurisdiction. Preference is given to products and labor from Iowa as required by law. Bidders may not include sales tax in their bids, as a sales tax exemption certificate will be provided for materials incorporated in the project.
