The work includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, tax, equipment and services for the construction and completion of a new water main in Auburn, California. The new main will include 143 linear feet of ductile iron pipe in Fulweiler Avenue, 126 linear feet of ductile iron pipe encased in a 24-inch steel casing through Highway 49, and 1,163 linear feet of PVC pipe down a private alley and in Garfield Street. The work includes nightwork for work within the Caltrans right-of-way, 12 private service connections, installation of a new hydrant, valving, removal and/or abandonment of old pipe, and final pavement. Bidders must attend a pre-bid walk-through meeting at 144 Ferguson Road, Auburn, CA. No other access to the project site will be granted pre-bid without the owner's approval and during all site visits the bidder must be accompanied full time by an authorized representative of the owner.
