The project scope includes the new construction of 10 studio apartments. Visions and Pathways, Inc. is requesting sealed bids from qualified contractors for the Bridge House Supportive Housing Project, a new construction project located at 8 Third Avenue, Bridgewater, New Jersey 08807. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, full site development and new construction, including installation of new utilities, site work, walkways, and complete building construction from footings through roof. Work shall include all necessary excavation, selective demolition as required, foundations, framing, roofing, exterior and interior construction, and all associated building systems, as detailed in the bid documents. This project shall be completed in accordance with all applicable building codes and requirements. All electrical work shall be performed by a licensed electrician. This project is subject to Section 3 requirements and applicable federal funding requirements. All bids shall include required federal funding assurances as included in the bid package. Bids shall include all applicable local building permit fees. Bidders shall provide a schedule of values for purposes of contract development. The selected contractor shall provide evidence of insurance, including a minimum of $1,000,000 general liability coverage and $1,000,000 workers' compensation coverage. Visions and Pathways, Inc. reserves the right to reject any or all bids when, in its sole judgment, it is in the best interest of the organization to do so.
