Site work for a water / sewer project in Villa Rica, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work includes the rehabilitation of the sanitary sewer system, consisting of cleaning and lining approximately 1,025 linear feet of 15-inch gravity sewer, 1,425 linear feet of 12-inch gravity sewer, and 3,525 linear feet of 8-inch gravity sewer using cured-in-place pipe (CIPP). The work also includes rehabilitation of 57 manholes (approximately 725 vertical feet), including surface preparation, miscellaneous improvements, and installation of a cementitious liner. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of five percent of the bid. Performance and payment bonds, as well as evidence of insurance, are required at contract signing. Bidders must submit their bids on proposal forms furnished by the Engineer and, if bidding over the state licensing board limit, must display their current license number on the outside of the sealed envelope. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technical errors if deemed in their best interest. The project generally consists of approximately 5,975 linear feet (LF) of 8", 12", and 15" gravity sewer pipeline rehabilitation using the cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) method and approximately 725 vertical feet of manhole lining and rehabilitation. The project includes all necessary bypass pumping, access requirements, and site restoration.
