DESCRIPTION OF WORK: 2026 Street Paving: Milling and paving of various roads in Daugherty Township. Miling of street surfaces, placement of HMA wearing course, HMA binder course and bituminous wedge curb. Sealed bids are invited for the resurfacing of various streets in Daugherty Township under the 2026 Street Paving Contract. Bids must include a Certified Check or Bid Bond equal to at least ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount. All bids are irrevocable for 60 days after opening. Bidders must adhere to State anti-bid-rigging laws and submit a non-collusion affidavit, as well as proof of PennDOT pre-qualification for the necessary work. The Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act applies. No discrimination will be tolerated based on gender, race, color, creed, sex, age, physical disability, or national origin. The Township reserves the right to waive informalities, accept any bid or combination of bids, or reject any or all proposals in the best interest of the Township. The estimated cost for the Contract is greater than Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($25,000) Q/A:- All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Owner's Representative in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Owner's Representative in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Owner's Representative as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
