Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Coconut Creek, Florida. Design plans call for the construction of a fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.
Fire Station #113 is currently operating out of a temporary trailer within the MainStreet area. With the realization of MainStreet and associated population growth, construction of a permanent Fire Station #113 in the MainStreet area will be necessary. Design began in FY25, with construction slated for FY27. Enhancements to the K-9 training facilities at temporary Fire Station #113 are included for FY26. The FY28 funding request covers the costs associated with the removal of the temporary fire station, the purchase of additional equipment, and the possibility of required surface water creation at the temporary site. As of May 21, 2026, this project is included in the City's 2026-2030 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). Further information regarding a design firm and timeline for construction has not yet been established. Funding is allotted for FY 2026-2028. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
