Saginaw Schools is soliciting proposals for the Saginaw Career Complex Bid Package #4, a prevailing wage project. Bidders must meet the qualifications and requirements set forth. Proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the bid package and return address; submissions by facsimile or email will not be accepted. The district reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals or parts thereof and to negotiate changes in services with the firm determined to have the proposal in the district's best interest. Bidders are responsible for reading all specifications carefully and for any costs incurred in preparing or submitting a proposal. Alternatives may be offered if deviations from specifications are minor and clearly specified; otherwise, they may be grounds for rejection. All proposals must include a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship between the proposer and the Board of Education, Superintendent, or their employees; proposals lacking this disclosure will not be considered. Proposals remain valid for 60 days after submission and cannot be modified except by mutual agreement after acceptance. The Saginaw Career Complex Bid Package #4 Project includes electrical gear replacement in Building A, Building B, Building C, and Site Electrical/Building D. Proposals will be evaluated on quality of service, delivery, and cost. Contact with district personnel other than the designated representative is discouraged and may lead to elimination from the selection process.
