Construction of a combined groundwater recovery and soil vapor extraction (SVE) system, including but not limited to installation of necessary pumps, headers, piping, valves, meters, gauges, wiring, sampling ports, knock out tanks, bag filters, blower motors, vacuum sensors, pressure sensors, program logic controllers, control panels, catalytic oxidation unit, explosion proof rooms, variable frequency drives, utility connections, and other associated components required to connect the existing groundwater recovery and SVE well networks to the existing treatment facility and demonstrate system operational status. Operation and maintenance of the system for a period of up to 6 months are also included. All bid responses require proof of State Project Registration from the Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity. Bid responses and all attachments must be uploaded to SIGMA VSS. Contractors may submit a maximum of two attachments (both under 25 MB): one for bid documents (Bid Summary, Bid Schedule, Bid Bond, Certification forms, Signature Authority, etc.) and, if applicable, a second attachment for Qualified Disabled Veteran (QDV) information. Bids must be submitted before the 2:00 p.m. deadline; late submissions are not accepted. Issues with electronic submission should be directed to the SIGMA Help Desk before the deadline. If instructed by contract specialists, emailed submissions will require approval and must be received before the deadline to be considered responsive. Bid responses should not be emailed to the Project Director. 5% bid security is required.
