The scope of work includes flooring projects in the high school, as well as abatement and flooring projects in the middle school and elementary school buildings. R-I School District is issuing this Request for Proposal to have flooring redone in parts of California Elementary, California Middle and California High School buildings. Below is a breakdown of what will be done at each location: California Elementary 101 S. Owen St. California, MO 65018 Abatement, prep and supply/install replacement of VCT floor for approximately 8,760 sq ft in the following areas: Nurse's office (including bathroom & storage space), Kitchen area and Cafeteria Demo, prep and supply/install replacement VCT floor for approximately 1,300 sq ft in the hallway between the cafeteria and the multi-purpose room and supply/replace approximately 32 stair treads on the two stair cases going from this hall to the MPR. Remove, supply and install approximately 840 ft of cove base. California Middle School 211 S. Owen St. California, MO 65018 Abatement, prep and supply/install replacement of VCT floor for approximately 3,326 sq ft in the following areas: the upstairs hallway going from the band room hallway/side building entrance by the nurse's office to the threshold by the main stairs, the landing of the main stairs, and the hallway on the lower floor going from the main stairs to the exterior doors by the girls locker room entrance. Remove, supply and install approximately 720 ft of 6" cove base. Supply/replace approximately 20 stair treads on the main stairs. Remove, supply and install 136 sq ft of rubber tile on ramp near upstairs main bathroom. California High School 1501 W. Buchanan St. California, MO 65018 Demo carpet in the band room, library/media rooms. Supply/install approximately 624 yards of carpet in the library/media rooms. Supply and install approximately 2,147 sq ft of VCT flooring in the band room. Remove, supply and install approximately 1,200 ft of 6", 4.5", and 4" cove base to match existing base.
