Carlisle County Water System Improvements Project PROJECT DESCRIPTION The project includes the construction of a 75,000-gallon capacity elevated ellipsoidal potable water storage tank, complete with foundation, access features, safety appurtenances, interior and exterior protective coating systems, overflow, drain, and site piping. The work also includes approximately 330 linear feet of 8-inch ductile iron pipe, associated valves, a fire hydrant, control and monitoring systems, security lighting, and all required electrical, instrumentation, and communications components. The project further includes all necessary connections to the existing water distribution system, testing, disinfection, startup, and commissioning activities required to deliver a complete, fully functional, and compliant water storage and distribution facility. If any person contemplating submitting a bid for construction of the work is in doubt as to the true meaning of any part of the plans or specifications, or finds discrepancies in or omissions from any part of the plans or specifications, he may submit to the Owner, a written request for interpretation thereof not later than seven (7) days before the bid opening date
