Site work and paving for a civil project in Kingman, Arizona. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and bridge / tunnel.

The work consists of resurfacing, restoration, and rehabilitation of approximately 1.3 miles of Burro Creek Road to improve access to camping and day-use areas, reduce maintenance costs and erosion, and improve drainage, sediment control, and roadway safety. Construction activities include pavement rehabilitation using full depth reclamation and asphalt concrete pavement with associated fog seals and tack coats. Drainage improvements include installation of cross culverts, reconstruction of an existing headwall, ditch grading and reconditioning, construction of berms, bank stabilization, and installation of flared end sections and riprap aprons. Earthwork and stabilization activities include embankment benching, slope stabilization, slope scaling, and repairs at the bridge approach to address undercutting at the eastern abutment. Safety and traffic control work includes installation of new regulatory and warning signage, pavement markings, and placement of boulders to control public access at designated locations. The project is structured with a base schedule covering the primary roadway rehabilitation work and an option that includes bridge sedimentation repairs, additional undercutting repairs at bridge approaches, and boulder placement. Principal work items include roadway aggregate placement, ditch reconditioning, full depth reclamation, asphalt concrete paving, installation of 18-inch and 24-inch pipe culverts, and placement of boulders.
